CAST A WIDE NET

Attract the Masses by Casting a Wide Net

When you take on being someone who “Casts a Wide Net” you will develop for yourself a brand new relationship to your prospective market. This particular circle will prompt you to really go in search of “what do I have to give before I receive?” In a very real sense this is exactly what is intended when Jesus said, “Give and it will be given unto you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38

So, let me ask you this. Have you been struggling to attract and captivate the attention of those in your target market? Has your struggle left you tired, exhausted, financially devastated and emotionally spent? Have you come to the place where you feel like you’re at the end of your rope with no real options left? Believe me when I tell you, “I know exactly how you feel. I felt the exact same way too at one time. Until one day I found the answer. I needed a powerful system for capturing a large group of people. And I needed to focus on gathering them into a wide net first by offering them something for free that really benefited them without trying to sell them on anything first.

That’s an ancient biblical principle used over and over again in ancient times. Even Jesus used it with great effectiveness. He gathered vast masses of people to follow him by first giving them something of great value first. That’s why everywhere he went he was working miracles. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, raised the dead and set people free. He performed great works and miracles for free. Then he invited people to accept his offer.
What would happen if you cast a wide net that attracted large masses of people by first offering something for free…and then you make your offer? In order to do this you must first embrace a sense of your restored value. Only then will you feel generous enough to believe you have something worth giving.
So, maybe now you recognize you do have great value. Regardless of who you are in the world you have a story, a message, a unique role to play and a great capacity to make a difference in the world. And the truth is the world is waiting on you to make your contribution. Life will reward you handsomely for the value you bring to the table. But what is the very first step you must take to bring that value to the table?
But now let me ask you… how would you share your message and present your offer? If you could describe it using fishing metaphors would you fish with a fishing pole or a fishing net? You must “Cast a Wide Net”. But what exactly does that mean? It means that you must find a way to tell enough people from all walks of life about what you have to offer. And, you must do so the same way and “Cast a Wide Net” means don’t just tell your neighbours, family and friends but tell as many people as your can. This means you must develop a method or system to reach the masses with whatever message, product, service you offer. It means you don’t prejudge, screen or filter anyone out. Like the apostle Paul you become all things to all people so you may reach some.
